Mrs. Inez W. Barnes, 90, Tuscumbia, Ala., went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, 2001, at Sunbridge Shoals Nursing Home.She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Barnes Sr.; a son, Grady Lee Barnes Jr.; her parents, Robert Lee and Daisy Keeton Willingham; brothers, W.M. Willingham, Tom Willingham and John Willingham; sisters, Mrs. Ethel McLin, Mrs. Blanch Evans, Mrs. Leola Todd and Mrs. Lorene Tubbs.Mom was a member of First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia, where she was very active until her health failed. She loved her church and all of her friends in Sunday school and Circle.Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will be Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at noon at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. Berkley Webb.She is survived by her son, Billy Barnes and wife, Dorothy, of Huntsville; daughter, Daisy Barnes Bendall and husband, Hollis, of Tuscumbia; four grandchildren, Pat Bendall King and husband, Billy, of Tuscumbia, Lee Atherton and husband, Robert, of Birmingham, Alan Barnes and wife, Ginny, of Marietta, Ga., and Carol Cox and husband, Randy, of Huntsville; great-grandchildren, Chris King, Brett Barnes, Scott King, Logan Barnes, Peyton Cox, Riley Barnes, Davis Cox and Emily Atherton; step-grandchildren, Will King and Leah King.Pallbearers will include Alan Barnes, Robert Atherton, Randy Cox, Billy King, Chris King, Scott King, Frankie Tubbs, Jim Todd and Tommy Willingham.Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia Organ Fund or Alzheimers Disorders Coalition.The family wishes to thank the following for all the kind and loving care given our mom and grandmother: Martha, Jeanette and Jean, who took care of Mom for two years, and the staff and nurses at Sunbridge Shoals, especially Fancy, Rhonda, Gracie and Paula for their care for the past year and a half.Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing..
