Sue Davis Williamson, age 90, a resident of Escatawpa, Miss., died Monday, Feb 21, 2005, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was born Nov 8, 1914 in Ocean Springs, Miss. Mrs. Williamson was a homemaker and devoted mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Annie Davis; her husband, James Thurman Williamson; and one son, Wayne Williamson.
Her survivors include two sons and daughters in law, William and Judy Williamson of Laurel, Miss., Russell and Nanette Walls of Escatawpa; two daughters and sons in law, Gail and Gary Mallette of Gautier, Miss., Pat and Wesley Brownslee of Leakesville, Miss.; one sister in law and one brother in law; Annie Mae Couch of Moss Point, Miss., and Cecil Williamson of Escatawpa,; devoted granddaughter, Donya Charlton; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nephews, Chester Noble, Leo [Betty] Noble, David [Sharon] Noble and nieces, Ona Lee Dunbar, Beryle Bond, Naomi Noble, former daughter in law, Faye Huff of Mobile, Ala.; and a host of other nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p m Wednesday, Feb 23, 2005, at Holder Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral service will be at 10 a m Thursday, Feb 24, 2005, at the funeral home chapel with Rev Johnny Coggin officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Vancleave, Miss.
