Noatak resident and homemaker Frances E. Hoppe, 43, died Nov. 21 while visiting family in Fairbanks.
Mrs. Hoppe was born Sept. 7, 1951, in Kotzebue, to Chester Burns and Martha Williams. Services were held in Kotzebue with burial in the Kotzebue Cemetery.
Mrs. Hoppe is survived by her husband, Walter Hoppe of Noatak; her son, Walter; and her daughter, Martha, both of Fairbanks; her parents, Chester and Martha Burns of Noatak; her sisters, Ethel Wallen and Bertha Nolton, both of Kotzebue; and her brothers, Chester Burns Jr., Frank Burns and Leslie Burns, all of Noatak. Arrangements were handled by Witzleben Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
