Master Sgt. Burrill L. Williams (U. S. Air Force Retired) age 78, passed peacefully at the Loyalton of Broadmoor Assisted Living with his wife and two children by his side. Burrill was born on September 23, 1928 in Canon City and later moved to Pueblo. Upon High School graduation, he joined the Air Force, where he served for twenty-one years, in Europe, Korea and Vietnam in the field of Communications. He belonged to the Pueblo Motorcycle Club and served as Past President. Burrill also raced motorcycles and helped to win many trophies. He was also a lifetime member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, the Air Force Association, and contributed to many organizations throughout the years including the USOC. Burrill also worked for the paint department at the Broadmoor Hotel for fifteen years and never missed a stroke. In the hallway of the World Arena hangs a plaque with his name on it. A real donor he was! Burrill was an avid football fan, throughout his life. Burrill is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Fern Williams and grandparents and son-in-law Dennis Stockert; and his beloved poodles Fifi and Gigi. Burrill is survived by his beloved wife Dolores of 28 years, his beloved children, son Scott Williams and daughter Sherry Stockert, two beloved grand children, Danny and Laci and Anna Marie the mother of his children. All of Colorado Springs; a brother, Richard (Betty) a sister Beverly Dwight (Frank); many nieces and nephews and cousins, Burrill was loved by all who knew him. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 10:00-11:00 am with services following at 11:00 am at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. with Military Honors Interment will be on Friday March 23, 2007 at 10:00 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3898 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association 2315 Bott Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80904 or Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care, 825 E. Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 Reception will be held from 2:30 PM till 4:30 PM on Thursday March 22, 2007 in the Main Ballroom of the Broadmoor Hotel. Valet Parking
