On September 22, 1923 Viva Morine (Ferguson) Bolton was the only child born to Harry Owen and Bonnie May (Fisk) Williams in Watchorn, Oklahoma. She died on July 5, 2014 at the age of 90.Her early years were spent in Bixby, Oklahoma, in 1942 she married Henry Franklin Bolton and they had one daughter, Letisha Marlene.They divorced and Viva married Gerald Vincent Ferguson and most of their married life was spent in Grandview, Missouri. She worked in the Grandview Consolidated School District for 23 years as a secretary in the Junior High School. Gerald died in 1977 and she remarried Henry Bolton in 1979. In the 15 years they were re-married they lived in Lake of the Ozarks and Floral City, Florida, moving to Benson, Arizona shortly before Henry died in 1994. She is survived by her daughter, Letisha, son-in-law John Hiestand, grandson, Rod Hiestand, great grandson, J.R. (Jon Rod) Hiestand and great great grandson, Hunter Hiestand.
Visitation at McGilley & George Funeral Home, Grandview, was July 14, 2014 with with burial at Green Lawn Cemetery, July 15, 2014. Rememberance donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , or a charity of your choice.
