Mary Virginia Garrett was born on October 1,1933 in Hebbardsville, Ky to Virginia Carter Skeleton and Willis Sol Williams.

Mary accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early
age and was a faithful member of Little Valley Missionary Baptist Church until her illness. As a member of the church, her dedication and service was an inspiration to
many, she served on the Mothers Board ,was a faithful Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the Senior Chorus, she loved the Lord. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt cousin and friend to all who knew her. She loved to cook and was the best cook we knew. Before retiring in 2002, Mary was employed with Deaconess Hospital for 25 years as a Nursing Assistant.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Skelton, Willis Williams, Sam Skeleton, Brother Charles Skeleton, and a very special aunt Mary Weatherford.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Frank D. Garrett of Evansville; daughters, Toni Garrett Collins (Leon); Pamela Garrett Boyd (Rickey) both of Evansville, Phyllis Garrett Drake (McArthur) Atlanta, GA; Jennifer Garrett Jacobs (Kevin) Jacksonville, FL. Stepdaughters Katie Brinkley (John) Hendersonville, TN, Emma Malone (Pete) Nashville, TN, sisters Barbara Parchman, Ella Boyd, Gwen Cheaney.Maria Williams all of Evansville, IN, Lena Ellens Austin, TX, Marketta Ector, Detroit MI, Lela Gamble Kansas City, MS, Linda Sue Williams, Cincinnati, OH; brothers, Paul Skeleton, Sol Williams of Evansville, Eugene Williams of Jacksonville, FL,; grandchildren,and great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday 3-5p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home and 6-8p.m. @ Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be Friday 12:00 noon at Memorial Baptist Church.
