Helen K. Harper passed away at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Burnt Prairie Township, White County, the daughter of Lewis J. "Luke" and Addie (Fulkerson) Williams. She moved to Carmi in 1935 and remained a lifetime resident except for a few retirement years living in Daytona Beach, Fla. She was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher at Carmi First Baptist Church
