Bill Eugene Williams, 76, of Weesatche, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003. He was born Jan. 25, 1927, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to the late William Marion and Ruie Ruth Reid Williams.
He served as a radioman on PBY flying boats for the U.S. Navy and graduated with a degree in Geology from TCU. He was a mud logger in the oil field service.
Survivors: sons, Bill Eugene Williams Jr. of San Antonio, Bruce Elliot Williams of Denton, and Bryan Eady Williams of Bandera; brother, Bobby Lee Williams of Fort Worth; and nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by: brother, Glenn Williams.
Graveside services were held Monday, October 27 at Sandy Creek Cemetery near Rockdale, the Rev. Jason Anderson officiated.
Pallbearers were: Bill Williams, Bruce Williams, Bryan Williams, Gregg Williams, Darwyn Duderstadt, and Jim Ingram.
