           MRS. MARY BRODHEAD
    Mrs. Mary Brodhead, 79, a resident of this section for the past 57 years, died early yesterday morning at her home, 1 Leonard Street, city, after an illness of general debility.
    The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fay E. Hopkins, 19 Miner Street, Thursday afternoon at 2 with services in charge of Rev. Melvin J. Dodd of Firwood Methodist Church. Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery.
    Mrs. Brodhead was born at Milesburg, Center County, and was the former Mary Williams. She was married August 9, 1883, in Ashley to William Brodhead, who died many years ago. She was a member of Central Methodist Church of this city.
    Surviving are five sons, Harry, Raymond and Asher of Kingston, and Earl and Malcolm. the latter employes of Wilkes-Barre City, both at home: a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Hopkins, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
