Laura June Williams Thompson, 85, passed away September 5, 2010 at the Sr. Villa.
Born June 23, 1925 in Eureka, California, to Charles Albert and Elizabeth Ariena Montgomery Williams. Married Francis Bernard "Joe" Thompson, September 5, 1945 in Tekamah, Nevada. He died January 16, 1994. Companion, Daryl Tompkins.
Survived by children, Barry (Evon) Thompson, of Roosevelt, Charles "Chuck" (Edicia Rodriguez) Thompson, of Cortez, Colorado, Linda (Jose) Hernandez and Gracie Loo Workman, both of Roosevelt, and Maurine Blakely, of Glendale, California; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Maurine Kay Sixkiller; two granddaughters, Lisa Sixkiller, Tracy Thompson; son-in-law, Walt Sixkiller; sister, Marilyn Kennelly; and brother, Frank Williams.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the Myton Presbyterian Church. Cremated remains buried at the LaPoint Cemetery.
