Muriel Agnes Williams Mank, 79, residing for the past 17 years in Annapolis, MD, died November 28th at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Erin and Bill Rogers in Maurertown, Virginia. She briefly resided in New Britain, CT prior to her move to VA after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October of 2011. She moved 33 times in her lifetime, living in numerous cities in MD, PA, WV, VA, CA, NY, and CT including Baltimore, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, and Cumberland in MD; Paoli, PA; Keyser, WV; McLean and Maurertown in VA; San Jose, CA; Coram, Long Beach, and Binghamton in NY; and New Britain, CT. She made friends that lasted a lifetime at every stop, and lived a life of love and service to family, friends and community that left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was born July 17, 1932 in Baltimore, MD, to the late George Henry Williams and Mary Margaret Clark Williams. She grew up in Annapolis, MD and graduated from Annapolis High School in 1950. She married the late Willard Joel Mank from Pittsburgh in 1954, and they were happily married until his death in 1995. Their six children and 14 grandchildren survive her: Joel T. Mank and his wife, Annette and their children Joel, Jonathan and Natalie of Ashburn, VA; George B. Mank and his children Ben, Brad, and Allison of Reston, VA; Shawn D. Mank and his sons Ryan, Morgan, and Adam of Ashburn, VA; Sister Mary Sharon Mank of the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception of New Britain, CT; Kevin P. Mank and his wife Karen and their children Patrick, Kristen, and Erin, of Gilroy, CA; and Erin Colleen Rogers and her husband Bill and their sons Willie and CJ of Maurertown, VA; also survived by twin sister Marie Williams Rioux of Baltimore, MD and brother Bartel D. Williams and wife Sharon of Annapolis, MD and preceded in death by younger brother, George David Williams. Fifteen nephews and nieces and many great nephews and nieces also survive her.

Relatives and friends may call at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401, on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401-2528, with Reverend Patrick Flynn, C.Ss.R. officiating.

Interment will be at a later date at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, Maryland.
