Mrs. Ida Williams Frazier
SHREVEPORT, LA - The celebration of a life well lived for Mrs. Ida Williams Frazier will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Willow Chute Baptist Church, 2645 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, with Pastor Alvin Mays officiating. Interment will follow at Round Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Frazier was born August 13, 1902 in Waskom, Texas. She made her heavenly transition peacefully at Willis Knighton-North on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at 4:00 p.m., at the age of 108. She was a member of the Willow Chute Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess and actively participated in many church events.
Mrs. Frazier was preceded in death by her mother, Cassie Williams Hill; sisters, Elary Breashers and Pearl Williams; and brother Randolph Edwards.
She is survived by her sister, Cleorneice Hall; brother-in-law, James Hall, Jr.; nieces , Euna (Lamar) Webb, Mary (Kenneth) Ray, Martha (Cecil) Henderson and Marie King of Carson, CA; nephews, Rev. Ronald Brown, Rev. Donald Brown, Rev. James (Ellen) Hall III, Rev. Algernon (Linda) Hall and Archie Hall; devoted cousins, Betty Williams and John and Ethel Pugh; God-daughter, Nanette Young; cherished friend, Geneva Jones and many family members and friends.
