Daughter of Sam and Clara Williams of Selma, Alabama, mother was a longtime Brighton resident. Christian service was rendered as Stewardess and #1 Choir President at her beloved Ward Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Bessemer. She was widow of Mr. Grady Griffin, Sr. and predeceased by a son, Eugene. Precious memories linger with children, Grady, Jr. (JoAnn), Jacqueline King, Min. Gwendolyn Polk, Janet McGhee and generations of grandchildren. Hour of Homegoing is 11:00 Saturday at The Chapel of Johnson Memorial, 2601 Ninth Avenue, Bessemer. Brother Elijah Anthony, Officiant. Inhumation follows at Elmwood. Calling Hours at Johnson Memorial, Bessemer, Friday Noon until 9:00.
