Mozell Williams was born in the Black Jack Community. She and Edward Peal Williams were married on July 16, 1954 in the Black Jack Church in the Black Jack Community. She lived in Rockdale and Milam County area all of her life. Mozell and Edward were the former owners of the Piano Bar, Williams Loans and the Dress Shop all in Rockdale. Mozell passed away in the Manor Oaks Nursing home in Rockdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Earlene. Funeral services were held March 26, 2013 at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral home, with Dr. Greg Nichols, Standards Hospice Chaplain. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.
