G.E. WILLIAMS
George Easter Williams, 61, resident of the Harbor for the past 11 years, died early this morning at the U.S. Veterans hospital in Seattle. Born April 18, 1897, in Barry, MO, Mr. Williams came here from Salem, OR, where he had lived for 15 years. He was a painter and mechanic by occupation. His home was at 116 East Second St., Cosmopolis. He was a Navy veteran of World War I. Survivors are his wife, Dessie, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Susan Chicano and Mrs. Marie Monday both of Aberdeen; a son, George E. Williams, Jr., Aberdeen; three sisters, Mrs. Madeline Stobie, Portland, Mrs. Pearl Bonnot, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Minnie Warren, Kansas City, MO; 14 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A son, John Francis Williams was killed in action during World War II, while serving in the European theater.
GEORGE E. WILLIAMS Funeral services for George Easter Williams will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Elerding chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Auchard officiating. Aberdeen Post 5, American Legion, will be in charge of military rites at the graveside in Fern Hill Cemetery.
