Martha Willard Connett was born in Wrangell, Alaska, daughter of William and Elizabeth Kinch Willard. She married Eugene Connett in 1946, in Eugene, WA.
Surviving are daughters, Jean E. Curtis and Joanne Ogolin, grandchildren, Monica Grady, Angela Haller, Robert Shipton and William Curtis; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, Ray Willard and niece, Louise Willard, who was like a sister.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
