Bloomingburg, Sept. 24 - George T. Wilkin, whose death was mentioned in Monday's Times-Press, was a son of the late William Wilkin and Mary E. Van Keuren, and was born in Montgomery in 1850. In 1852, with his parents, he moved to the Wilkin homestead farm, in the town of Wallkill, near Winterton, where he resided at the time of his death.

He married Myrtle F. Nichols, who survives him with four sons, George, at home; Chester N., Charles and William, of New York city, and one grandson, Chester, Jr., of New York. Also one brother, William M., of Middletown, and three sisters, Mrs. Frances Thompson, of Middletown; Mrs. Alva Seybolt, of Oneonta; and Mrs. George W. Comfort, of Bloomingburg.

Mr. Wilkin was a successful farmer, and a kind husband and father, neighbor and friend.

The funeral services were held from his late residence, on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. William Colden, of the Reformed Church of Bloomingburg. Interment in the Bloomingburg cemetery.
