GREAT BEND -- Dorothy F. Koochel, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at Central Kansas Medical Center, St. Rose Campus in Great Bend.
She was born Nov. 15, 1915, to John J. and Anna Folke (Budde) Wilhelm in Great Bend.
She married Olin E. Koochel Nov. 21, 1938, in Timken. He died Oct. 23, 1995.
She was a homemaker.
She had been a lifetime resident of Barton and Rush Counties.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include two sons, Larry J. Koochel, Liberal, and John T. Koochel, Great Bend; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Wilhelm; and two sister, Selma Dyer and Gladys Brown.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Gary Brooks presiding.
Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery in Great Bend.
Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
