Mollie died following a short illness. She lived and worked in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, WI until her husband, Walter, died. She then returned to Gillett. She was surved by: sister Lorena Perlick of Suring, WI; her brother-in-law, Harold (Darlene) Pethke of Union Grove, WI and three sisters-in-law: Dorothy (Rahn) Pethke and Mildred (Ruch) Pethke of Suring, WI, and Hildegard (Kenneth) DeLonge of Spring Hill, FL.

Her funeral was held Monday, Jan 17, 2000 at her church (Emanuel Lutheran church, rural Gillett, WI) with Deacon Ralph W. Beversdorf officiating. Interment in WI Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring served the family.
