HATTIE MAE WILDES PEACOCK

MOULTRIE — Hattie Mae Wildes Peacock, 90, of Railroad Street, Moultrie, died Monday, September 30, 2002, at Sunrise Nursing Home in Moultrie.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel with interment
in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Mark Jordan and the Rev. Joe Q. Smith will officiate.
The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
A native of Lowndes County, Mrs. Peacock was a retired spinner for Moultrie Textiles. She was a member of Riverside Holiness Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Peacock Snipes of Moultrie; son, Charles Glenward Peacock and wife, Faye of Albany; daughter-in-law, Voncile H. Peacock of Moultrie; son-in-law, Jerry Snipes of Moultrie; six grandchildren, Kelli Thomas, Cara Horne, Keith Peacock, Stacie Driver, Richie Snipes and Jamie Snipes; 12 great-grandchildren, Joshua Varnadoe, Nikkie Driver, Jeremy Varnadoe, Jerilyn Thomas, Andy Driver, Marlie Thomas, Keith Peacock, Megan Peacock, Emily Snipes, Shayla Snipes, Jaelyn Snipes and Carly Horne; two step great-grandchildren, Erik Sandal and Rachel Sandal; a special niece, Frankie Goodman and husband, Roy of Moultrie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Clinton Peacock; a son, C. Jerry Peacock; one granddaughter, Donna Varnadoe; parents, Essie Green Wildes and Jess Wildes.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family may be contacted at residence of Elaine Snipes, 1200 Fifth Avenue S.W., Moultrie.
