Warren County resident and native Raymond Wilcher, 65, died unexpectedly May 10 at River Park Hospital.

The owner/operator of Wilcher's Sawmill for 27 years and a member of New Union Methodist Church, he was the son of Herbert and Sarah Bouldin Wilcher; and was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Sullivan Wilcher in 1983; brother, Billy Wilcher; and sister, Corky Buckner.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Weddington Wilcher; sons and brothers-in-law, Doug and Nina Wilcher, Tim and Lorie Wilcher, Joey and Lydia Wilcher, all of Rock Island; daughter, Debra McBride of Rock Island; stepson and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Alyshia Weddington of McMinnville; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Linda and Steve Jennings; grandsons, Toby McBride of McMinnville, Morgan and Derek Wilcher of Rock Island and Shane Wilcher of Morrison; great-granddaughters, Holly McBride, Sarah and Jessica Wilcher, all of Rock Island, Kimberly Wilcher of Morrison, and Nichole Wilcher of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, David McBride of Rock Island and Kade McBride of Morrison; step-grandson, Tommy Weddington of McMinnville; step-granddaughters, Hannah Stacy of Rome, Ga., Hillary Phillips of Rock Island, Natalie Jennings and Savannah Bell, both of McMinnville and Veleaka Wilcher of Florida; brothers, Bob and Clayton Wilcher of Rock Island; sisters, Loretta Hillis of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at High's Chapel with Tim Lewis and David Grissom officiating. Burial will follow at New Union Cemetery.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
