Lily Pearl Wells Wilber was the daughter of William David Wells and Orena Rhine Wells. In 1922, she married her sweetheart John Mitchell Wilber, and they raised 3 children: Raymond Harold, Marvin John, and Peggy Sue. Their children added a large number of grandchildren to the family. In the 1920's, Pearl and John moved from their home in Wheeler, Washington County, to Maysville in Benton County. In their later years, they moved to Gravette, where they remained.

Pearl was loved by her family and well-liked by all who met her. No stranger to hard work, nevertheless she was quick with a laugh or a smile and had endless patience. She worked alongside her husband, John, throughout their marriage, and was a true loving companion to him. She was an active member of the Gravette Ladies Auxillary.
