Freeda G. Adams, 71, of 5174 N. Lincoln Village, died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital after being seriously ill several days.
She was the widow of William Adams who died Oct. 7, 1964. They were married Aug. 9, 1930.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Buckley and Dr. William Griffith at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Jonathon Moore Pike. Burial will be at Springer Cemetery on U.S. 31 near Elizabethtown. Calling hours will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. Wednesday until service time.
Memorials may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 26, 1913, in Bartholomew county, the daughter of Arch and Lula Ferrenburg Wilber. She was a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert H. Adams of 4725 Woodcrest; two daughters, Barbara Wilson of 2557 Lafayette, and Joyce Louden of 5240 Hartford; one brother, Archie Wilber of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Martha Wiseman of Charleston Square Apartments and Bessie Wilber and Irene Foist, both of Elizabethtown, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
