Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed playing Bunko with her friends. She was a former member of Young America Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, word find puzzles, and she loved roses.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Sprinkle, Walton; two sons, Steve (Rhonda) Sprinkle, Logansport, and Jim Sprinkle, Walton; six grandchildren, Joey Kilgore, Alicia Reynolds, Joshua Sprinkle, Shannon Sprinkle, Nicole Walker and Donna Lugabihl; three great-grandchildren, Alex Sprinkle, Gabriel Reynolds and Jacob Veasey; and a brother, Mike (Ruth) Wikel, Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda; her parents and a sister, Nancy.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston. The Rev. John Newman will officiate. Burial will follow at Galveston Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
