He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church.
Before his retirement, he had been employed for 34 years at BASF Corp. He was an Air Force veteran, serving as a pilot in World War II, and was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife Arlyne (Kramer), his children Del and Mary Ann Wieghmink of Holland, and Sandra and Tomas Zuniga of Zeeland; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd and Dale Wieghmink of Holland; and two aunts.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at the Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 16th St., with the Rev. Theodore Zandstra officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
Visiting is scheduled 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Holland.
