FRIONA - Louise Frazier Widner, 64, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Friona with the Rev. Joe Hub Collier of Cushing, Okla., and the Rev. Don Kimbrough of Friona officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. (CDT) in the Melrose Cemetery at Melrose, N.M.

Mrs. Widner had been a Friona resident since 1963, moving from Sunnyside. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Friona and had served as Sunday school secretary for 30 years. She was active in the Meals On Wheels program and served as the first treasurer. She also had worked with the county commodity program assisting needy families.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Widner of Friona; two daughters, Alicia Widner of Lubbock and Jaton Magness of Longview; two sisters, Juanita Richards of Clovis, N.M., and Esther Dodd of Melrose; one brother, Jerry Frazier of Roswell, N.M.

The family suggests memorials be to Youth With a Mission, in care of Debbie Reeve, P.O. Box 3000, Garden Valley, TX 75771.
