Gordon Wickman Age 59, of 317 North Williamson Rd., Blossburg, died Saturday, November 20th, at his home. Born in Blossburg Feb. 3, 1945 the son of the late Leonard and Ester Larson Wickman.

Gordy was married to Thelma Boyce Wickman. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Gordy was employed by Ward Manufacturing for 32 years and along with his wife Thelma, owned and operated the Brick Tavern in Blossburg.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Supreme Sacrifice Post # 8730 of Blossburg, William B. Wilson American Legion Post # 527 of Blossburg, Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post # 167 of Morris Run, Hillside Rod and Gun Club of Blossburg and Arnot Sportsmen Club of Arnot.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Thelma of Blossburg; are five children, Mark A. (Mary) Wickman, Blossburg, Richard Priset, Blossburg, Linda Wickman, Arnot, Mark (Myrna) Priset, Wellsboro, Andrea (Shawn) Kulp, Roaring Branch; four grandchildren, Richele Priset, Brandi Wickman, Kelly Campbell and Mark Priset II; two great-grandchildren, JoAnne Campbell and Kassidy Wickman; a brother, Donald (Joyce) Wickman, Morris Run; and a sister, Leona Mesuch, Blossburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Arlene Barr. Friends will be received at Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg, Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 23rd, 11 a.m. from the funeral home. Pastor Raymond Forsythe officiating. Burial will follow in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
