Greta K. Wickman of Middletown, a retired employee of the Middletown Psychiatric Ctr., died Wed, Mar 15, 2000, at the Horton Med Ctr. in Middletown. She was 92 years of age.
The daughter of the late Erik and Gerda Gortz Kall, she was born Sept 3, 1907, in Halmstead, Sweden. She was the widow of Carl J. Wickman.
Mrs. Wickman was a member of CSEA, AARP and a former volunteer at the Horton Medical Ctr. in Middletown.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan W. Morse of Rock Hill; four grandchildren and their spouses, Emerson A. III and Peggy Morse of Ghent, Carl died and Janet Morse of Westbrookville, Thomas and Debra Morse of Wolf Lake and Kelly M. and Craig Buchman of Rock Hill; nine great-grandchildren, Adam C. Morse and his wife, Jennifer, Emerson A. Morse IV, Kimberley, Erik A., Amanda, Ashley and Brittney Morse, Melinda Buchman and Melissa Williamson; a great-great-grandson, Andrew Morse; and cousins in Sweden.
Svc. were held Sat. at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home in Middletown with Erik Blahut officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
