Ashburnham -- Warren O. Whitney, 79, of 15 Pleasant St., vice-president of the C.H. Hartshorn Co., Gardner, where he worked for many years, died Sunday in Henry Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
Mr. Whitney was born here Jan.29, 1901, the son of Walton B. and Sarah B.(Sherburne) Whitney. He was the husband of the late Margaret(Brack) Whitney who died in 1977.
He leaves a son, Warren S. Whitney of Natick; a daughter Jane Whitney of Leominster and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday in the John H. Mack Funeral home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner, with the Rev. John Condon officiating. Interment will be in New Cemetery, Ashburnham. (1980)
