Dies July 4 Following
Injuries in Auto Accident

Mrs. Judy Lea Fielder, 27, of 112 Shawnee, Tecumseh, died July 4 about 3 a.m. at Herrick memorial Hospital following injuries in an automobile accident on Tipton Highway west of Tecumseh.
Her husband whose family who is from the Chelsea area, is in the hospital.
Mrs. Fielder was a housewife and a reporter for the Tecumseh Herald for four years. She was also a free lance writer for the Jackson Citizen Patriot.
She was born Oct. 23, 1939, in Ann Arbor, a daughter of Wallace and Ruth Russell Whiting. She was a graduate of Tecumseh High school. She married James B. Fielder Aug. 10, 1957 in Tecumseh.
A member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Tecumseh and the Alter Society. Mrs. Fielder was also a member of the Herrick Hospital auxillary and the women's press association.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her parents and a brother, Bill of Tecumseh, and four daughters, Jody, Jennifer, Jaqueline and Jill. Also surviving are several aunts , uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 7, at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Catholic church, Tecumseh. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery. Rosary will be said at the Proctor Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Thursday, July 6, at 8:30 p.m.
