CLETA JANE ARMSTRONG, a lifelong resident of Carroll County, Arkansas, was born May 7, 1908, in Dean, Arkansas, a daughter of William Marion and Mary (Carr) Whiteley. She departed this life Monday, June 28, 2004, in Berryville at the age of 96. Mrs. Armstrong was a homemaker. She was a Christian and a member of the Dean United Baptist Church. She loved flowers, gardening, crocheting, and making quilts. She is survived by........... She was united in marriage with Rev. W. Hans Armstrong who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Whiteley; her son, Bill Armstrong; and seven brothers and sisters. Burial was in the Dean Cemetery.
