BRISTOL, Tenn. – Nathan Lee Whiteaker, age 2, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Survivors include his parents, William L. and Amber Amerson Whiteaker; maternal grandparents, Felina and Glen Clay and Richard and Spring Amerson; paternal grandparents, David and Brandi Buchanan Whiteaker; maternal great-grandparents, Jack and Julie Hoke; paternal great-grandparents, Franklin and Paula Whiteaker and Marva Kay Buchanan and husband James; great-great-grandparents, Edith Whiteaker and Fred Roberts and Opal Buchanan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Scott Egbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Whiteaker Family Cemetery in Abingdon, Va. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
