SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. ARTHUR BEAL
Had Been Ill For Little More Than Week When Death Came
Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur Beal who died Friday, were held Sunday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. R.R. Einspahr officiating. A prayer was pronounced at the Andrew Beal home before the body was removed to the church. Banks of flowers surrounded the casket. Interment was made in the Holyoke cemetery.
Mrs. Beal passed away at the Holyoke hospital Friday morning after an illness of little more than a week. She was admitted to the hospital on Sunday for treatment but grew gradually worse, falling into a state of unconsciousness a day before her death.
Mrs. Beal's maiden name was Hazel Whiteaker. She was born March 16, 1905, at Colorado Springs and was baptized in the Lutheran church of that city May 14, 1921. She received her higher learning at the Colorado State Teachers College at Greeley and taught school in the Colorado Springs and Holyoke territories before her marriage to Mr. Beal May 21, 1926.
She is survived by her husband and four children, her mother, one brother and two sisters.
