CAMERON – Services for Ruth LaNell White, 79, of the Jones Prairie community near Cameron were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at Little River Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Hudson officiating. Burial followed in Little River Cemetery.
Mrs. White died Monday, July 22, in a Temple hospital.
A homemaker and rancher, she was born Dec. 10, 1922, in the Jones Prairie community. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Harry White.
Survivors are a son, David Craig White of Sugar Land; two daughters, Delaine Burgess of Rockdale and Charlotte Ann Pomykal of Rosebud; two brothers, S.T. Burnett of Freeport and Walter Burnett of Cameron; also, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
