Cardell Hill of Riverhead died there June 19 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. She was 93.
She was born in Powhatan, Va., on Sept. 25, 1915, to George and Annie (Liggon) White. She worked as a supervisor at Crescent Duck Farm in Riverhead.
Predeceased by her son Alonzo, Mrs. Hill is survived by her children, Bruce, of Riverhead, Fred, of Bay Shore, and Elizabeth, of Wyandanch; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Family members received visitors June 22 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead, where the Rev. Haywood Tolbert conducted funeral services June 23. Interment followed at Riverhead Cemetery.
