David A. Whitaker, 91, of Chillicothe died at 5:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at Heartland of Chillicothe after an extended illness. He was born June 27, 1904, in Jackson, the son of Robert and Nellie Yerian Whitaker. On Dec. 24, 1927, he married Florence A. Radcliff who survives.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David A. and Margaret Whitaker of Clearwater, Fla., and William M. and Ruth Whitaker of Circleville; one daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Ted Lingel of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Helen Whitaker of McArthur, Bob and Marsha Whitaker of Montpelier and Darwin and Ann Whitaker of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
He was retired from Marathon Oil Company and was a member of Bridge Street Church of Christ, Chillicothe.
