Mrs. Madge W. McDonald, 77, died late Wednesday night in the Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was a Decatur County native and had lived in Stark, Fla. for many years. A retired school teacher, Mrs. McDonald had lived in Statesboro for the past several years. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. H. W. Turner, Statesboro; one brother, M. W. Whigham, Pensacola, Fla.; seven nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Smith-Tillman Mortuary with the Rev. Jimmy Creel officiating. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery.
Smith-Tillman Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
