"Tonopah, Dec 21 - Funeral services for Mrs. Kittie M. Terrell, well known Tonopah resident who died at her home on Dec 12, were conducted from the Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Terrell was born Kittie M. Wheeler on Oct 1, 1887 near Springfield, MO. When she was a young girl the family moved west, first settling in San Rafael and later in Sebastopol, CA, where she received her education. In 1906 she was married to the late Clyde R. Terrell at Sebastopol and the same year the couple moved to Beatty, where Mr. Terrell was employed on the Beatty Bulfrog Miner. He later assumed ownership of the paper. They moved to Tonopah after the decline of Beatty as a mining center and except for the period of a few years spent in Washington and California, Mrs. Terrell had made Tonopah her home. Mr. Terrell died here last year.
Active in community affairs Mrs. Terrell was a member of the Ladies association of the Presbyterian Church, Pythian Sisters, Neighbors of Woodcraft and Desert Queen Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are three sons, Donald, Starle and Solan Terrell, all of Tonopah; one daughter, Miss Clydene Terrell of San Jose, CA and a number of grandchildren."
