Constance B. 'Connie' Cote
Loving mother, aunt, cousin, and friend; 80
SHIRLEY -- Constance B. "Connie" (Wheeler) Cote, 80, of Shirley, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at her home with her devoted daughter at her side. Her husband of 44 years, Charles C. Cote, died in May 1996. Mrs Cote was born in Shirley, June 14, 1932, a daughter of Harry and Lempi (Koshi) Wheeler, and was a lifelong Shirley resident. She had worked at North Middlesex Savings Bank in Ayer, Nashoba Mills and George Frost Company both of Shirley, In the 1960s, she had worked with her aunt, Viano Cournoyer, in the operation of their "coffee route" in Shirley. She leaves her beloved daughter, Sandy Roy and her husband, Alan, of Shirley;; several nieces, nephews and cousins including Donna Kidder, Linda Cournoyer, Mabel Folkins, Pauline Gentile, and Nancy Koski. She also leaves her childhood friend, Gloria Friedrich, as well as her dear friend, Douglas Friedrich. Connie very much enjoyed visiting with family and friends, shopping and going out to eat. She loved traveling throughout New England, especially trips to the ocean. With her daughter, she frequently visited Hanpton Beach, New Hampshire and Ogunquit, Maine. Connie loved animals and taking care of her home. Connie's beautiful smile and cheerfulness will always be remembered.

COTE -- Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, January 15th at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., (Rte. 2A), Ayer. Mrs. Cote's family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Spring burial will be in Village Cemetery, Shirley. Memorial contributions may be made to Loaves and Fishes, PO Box 1, Ayer, MA 01432 or to the VNA Care Network, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
