Marie A.W. Bucher, 62, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on October 3, 1945, in Napoleon, OH, to Francis and Mabel (Rettig) Wetmore. Marie worked for several years as a professional secretary, retiring in 2002 from St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Perrysburg. She will be fondly remembered as a person who enjoyed reading, listening to music, growing flowers, watching Buckeye football, collecting state spoons and displaying cow decorations. She was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Bucher is survived by her husband, James Bucher, step daughter, Lori (Bob) Drown and stepson, Jeff (Gretchen) Bucher; brother, Frank (Pam) Wetmore, and stepgrandchildren, Chad, Caleb and Joshua and many nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her parents. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 2-9 p.m. at the Peinert Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd., Waterville, OH. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, at the Hope United Methodist Church, 10610 Waterville St., Whitehouse, OH, with Rev. Tom Hoover officiating. Interment will be at the Fort Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Contributions in Marie's name may be made to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or the church. Arrangements by the Peinert Funeral Home, Waterville, OH.
