MRS. ELMER ANGSTROM
Mrs. Elmer (Sadie) Angstrom, 75, died Thursday at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames where she had been a patient since Monday.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Stratford First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Skoog officiating and with burial in South Marion Cemetery.
The Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home will have charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband; four brothers, Elmo A. Westrum, Ernest Westrum, and Sidney Westrum, all of Stratford, and Marvin Westrum of Longmount, Colo., and several nieces and nephews.
She was born Jan. 16, 1898 in Marion Township, Hamilton County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Westrum. She attended schools in North Marion Township.
She married Elmer Angstrom of Stratford on June 28, 1922 and the family farmed northeast of Stratford until 1955 when they retired and moved into Stratford.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Stratford participating in activities of the church as long as she was able.
