Ina Westmoreland Brown, 57, of Rives died Sept. 21, 2011, at her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with burial following in Obion County Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Al Seward will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
She was born July 5, 1954, in Obion County, daughter of Lottie Pearlene (Bass) Westmoreland of Rives and the late James Roland Westmoreland. She was a member of the Rives AME Church and had been a former member of United Steel Workers No. 878. She had been employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
She is also survived by her daughter, Shakiki Montgomery of Union City; her son, Shahid Westmoreland of Rives; two brothers, Vaughn Westmoreland of Rives and Venory Westmoreland of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Bryce Westmoreland of Union City and Michael Montgomery of Union City; several nieces and nephews; and her husband, Leroy Brown of Rives.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jittaun Savage; and her brother, John Westmoreland.
