Vivian Kathleen Merry, 48, died Thursday, October 9, 1986 at the Hinds General Hospital in Jackson, Miss.,where she had entered October 4,1986. She had been in failing health for about 3 years.
She was born July 22, 1938 at Brazilton, Kansas to Bernard F. and Louise (Baldwin) Westhoff. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Parsons, KS.
She married Daniel Leon Merry on January 28, 1957 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons, KS. They moved to Jackson 11 years ago. He survives of the home.
She was a member of the Timerlawn Baptist Church of Jackson.
Other survivors include a son, Douglas and a daughter, Dena Merry both of Jackson; her mother, Louise Westhoff of Parsons, KS., a brother, Bernard Alan Westhoff of Richland, CA.; and three sisters, Maryetta Gilmore of Wichita, KS., Jolene Smith and Phyllis Pracht both of Parsons, KS.
The service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Parsons, KS. with the Rev. James Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
