Renee M. Becker, 53, Union, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Becker was born Feb. 15, 1955, in Washington, the daughter of Victor Westhoff and wife Jeanette, nee Ruether.
She received her education from St. Vincent's Grade School and Washington High School.
On Feb. 25, 1984, she was united in marriage to Dean Becker in Labadie.
Mrs. Becker was a member of St. Vincent's Church, Dutzow.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jesse Becker; one brother, Greg Westhoff; and one sister, Gwen Dooley.
Mrs. Becker is survived by her husband, Dean Becker, Union; her parents, Victor and Jeanette Westhoff, Dutzow; two sons, Nathan Bowen and wife Lori and Hank Becker, all of Union; three brothers, Dale Westhoff and wife Cheryl, Washington, Rick Westhoff, Houston, Texas, and Bryan Westhoff and wife Debbie, Union; two sisters, Cindy Rhoades and husband Steve, Warrenton, and Kay Alleman and husband Bob, Wentzville; her father- and mother-in-law, Donald and Jeannie Becker, Labadie; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Cheyanna Bowen; one sister-in-law, Ann Lause and husband Jared; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
A funeral Mass was held Friday, Feb. 6, at Immaculate Conception Church, Union, with Monsignor Matthew Mitas officiating.
Interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Labadie.
Memorials to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Make a Wish Foundation are preferred.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
