Marion was a daughter of Charles West and Mary M. Middaugh of Halsey Valley.

She was the wife of William Wallace Barden. They were married in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on June 14, 1880. He had been an official with the Lackawanna Railroad.

Mrs. Augusta M. Barden, 84 died August 14, 1934, died at home in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Barden is survived by two sisters, Miss Eldora West of Lynchburg, Virginia and Mrs. Harriet Elston of St. Petersburg, Florida; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held in Middaugh Funeral Parlors, 319 W. State Street. Burial was in Lake View Cemetery.

Bearers were: Grant and Norman West, Eugene Badger and Fred Johnson.
