Mrs. Andrews, a native of Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Dalton and Annie Herring West, and the widow of two husbands, Oscar Calton Holland and Henry J. Andrews. She was a member of Turkey Baptist Church and a former cashier. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by a son, A.J. Lane, a sister, Litha Gail West, and a brother, Bill West.
She is survived by two sons, Oscar Glenn Holland and wife Louise of Turkey, NC; and Jerry Dean Holland and wife Brenda of Rocky Point, NC; a sister, Annie Sue Stanley of Clinton, NC; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family recieved friends Friday, October 8, 2010 from 1-2pm at the Turkey Baptist Church and at other times at 933 New Hope Church Road, Turkey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Turkey Baptist Church (Oakridge Cemetery Fund) P.O.Box 159 Turkey, NC. 28393.
The funeral services were held at 2pm, Friday, October 8, 2010 at Turkey Baptist Church with Reverend Ron Bryant officiating.
Burial was made in the Church Cemetery.
The family entrusted the care of Mrs. Andrews to the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home of Clinton, NC.
