Thelma West Baker
NORMAN PARK — Thelma West Baker, 97, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Cool Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
The Rev. Phil Bozeman and the Rev. Steve Hughes will officiate, and burial will be at Cool Springs Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Logan, Steven Funderburk, Scotty Funderburk, Derek Baker, William Baker and Josh Funderburk.
Mrs. Baker was born Feb. 17, 1913, in Sneads, Fla., to William Warren West and Mary Elizabeth Hamilton West.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Baker; sons, Bobby Baker, Edward E. Baker and Raymond Baker; a daughter-in-law, Faye Baker; brothers, Theron West, Curtis West and Carlos West; sisters, Lucile Alton, Christine Mercer and Mary Perry; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Tyler and Matthew Baker.
Survivors include daughters, Jean Funderburk, and Dorothy Logan and husband John, all of Norman Park; daughters-in-law, Kathron Baker of Thomasville and Becky Baker of Norman Park; sisters, Lillian Kinard of Moultrie and Susie Brown of Hartsfield; seven grandchildren, Tim Logan, Angela Fountain, Steven Funderburk, Scotty Funderburk, Derek Baker, Karen Tyler and William Baker; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
