Kathleen May Rutlind, 79, of Rex, GA, passed away December 11, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, GA on August 10, 1937 to the late Marvin and Ruby West. She was raised in Fayette County and graduated from Fayette County High School in 1955. She was Past Grand Royal Matron Order of the Amaranth in the State of Georgia.
Mrs. Rutlind was preceded in death by her husbands, Jesse Arrington, Jr. and Verlin Rutlind. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Daniel) Cotter of McDonough and Sharon (Marshal) Franklin of Milton; her grandchildren, Derek Arrington, Brandon Arrington, Kieron Cotter, Bradley Pesselato and Colin Pesselato; and her great grandson, Devon Arrington.
A funeral service will take place Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home with Reverend Dave Riley officiating. Burial will follow at a family cemetery across from Sandy Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service.
