Geraldine "Gerry" Vaughn Blomh Wesson age 76 of Mena, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Mena Manor. She was born on Saturday, October 5, 1935 to Fred Henry and Lila Faye Vaughn Blohm in Des Moines, Iowa.
Gerry graduated from Mena High School in 1953 and married Harold Wesson on June 25, 1954, in Mena, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Lewis Wesson; one son, David Wesson; two daughters, Ramona Wesson and Sharon Wesson; one grandson, Lance Wesson.
Survivors include two sons, Kirk Wesson and wife Tanya of Mandeville, Louisiana and Mark Wesson of Mena; one daughter, Susan Bryant of Mena; one daughter in law, Judy Weinert of Mena, one brother, Fred Blohm and wife, Anna Lou of Commerce, Texas; one sister, Mary Bowden and husband, Dwight of Bull Head City, Arizona; four grandchildren, Susan Myers of Conway, Arkansas, Brandon and Blane Wesson of Mandeville, Louisiana, and Logan Bryant of Mena; two great grandchildren, Austin and Bryce Myers of Conway, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena.
