Minnie was one of 14 children born to Betty and George Wesson in Highland, Arkansas. She attended school there. She moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas with her family in 1926 where she joined the Mallalleu Methodist Church. She was a Culinary Artist. She was well known caterer preparing food for many charitable events and special orders for citizens and friends. The For Smith Times Record Newspaper paid tribute to her outstanding accomplishments as a renown caterer. She was a faitful member of Trinity Baptist Church.
